eXile¶

Our eXile networks offer isolation for legacy computer systems. Some hosts, despite their operating system being out-dated or even end-of-life (Windows XP, Windows 10, etc), may still be crucial for some experimental setups or industrial control systems. Since they are forbidden to be operated inside the normal network, we can isolate them in special eXile networks.

Network usage is severely limited for eXile hosts. So whenever possible, try to upgrade or replace the obsolete computer, instead of placing it in the eXile. For a more general laboratory setup, rather look into our phys-lab networks.
