Sync eGroupware and Android phones

As of eGroupware 11.1 Android phones can sync their calendar via ActiveSync. To set this up, do the following:

• Settings -> Accounts -> Add Account -> Exchange
• enter your D-PHYS email address
• Next
• enter your D-PHYS password
• Next
• edit Username so that it only consists of your D-PHYS login (not the email address)
• edit Server so that it reads groupware.phys.ethz.ch
• Next
• OK the next tab (Remote security administration)
• set the Account Options to your liking
• activate Device Administrator - don't worry, we don't use this feature at all
• go back to your Calendar and your eGroupware events should pop in a couple of minutes
